PUNKPLAY

I developed a scenic plot based on a reading, meticulously documenting each scene. My analysis visually captures the actor’s changing actions and key personal interpretations, allowing everything to be seen at a glance. Through this process, I realized the play features a range of distinctive characters, inspiring the concept of “multiple pieces forming one scene.”

By adjusting the central mullion, the set interacts with actors who freely skate, creating a dynamic stage element. I designed each square “scene” to function independently yet harmonize as a whole, adding a safe backstage staircase so actors can wait or move upstairs with ease. This attention to detail balances creativity with practical safety in the set design.
